01
A new door should run quietly, but builder-grade hardware often needs attention after the first
year or two. Doors settle, bolts loosen, and the springs may need a small adjustment to stay
balanced as the home and the door settle together.
If a newer door has started to rattle, scrape or sit unevenly, a service visit with tightening,
lubrication and a balance check often solves it. If a problem appears soon after installation,
check your builder's warranty position before arranging repairs.
02
Many new homes include a basic chain-drive opener. It does the job, but it can be loud,
particularly when a bedroom or living space sits above the garage. A belt-drive opener runs far
more quietly, and many models add Wi-Fi control and battery backup.
We install the new unit, program your remotes and keypads, set the force and travel limits, and
verify the safety reversal. The old opener is removed so you are not left with the extras.
03
Properties outside the main subdivisions often have detached or oversized garages, longer
driveways and doors that are used by equipment as well as cars. Larger or heavier doors need
correctly sized springs and cables, and the hardware works harder.
Call ahead and a dispatcher will confirm routing to your address. We bring the parts to match your
door's weight and size, so we can usually complete the repair on the first visit.
04
Call the main line, describe what you are noticing, and we will send a technician with a stocked
truck. The technician inspects the door, finds the root cause, and gives you a fixed written quote
before starting.
After the repair we test the door through its full travel and confirm the safety sensors work. You
get a plain explanation of what was done and what to watch for in the future.
Whether your Waterdown door is brand new or a few years old, call us or request a free written
estimate for repairs, opener upgrades or maintenance. We will tell you what it needs and what it
does not.
